Invert

Colour

Flip every colour to its opposite.

Each channel becomes 255 minus itself. White goes black, red goes cyan. There is nothing to tune.

Same artwork either side, so the difference you see is the effect. Built with the same SVG-filter primitives the product uses, but tuned for legibility at this size — treat it as a faithful illustration of the behaviour rather than a pixel-exact capture of the editor.

When to reach for it#

  • Negative-film looks.
  • Flash frames and impact hits, by keyframing it on for a frame or two.
  • Quickly checking whether artwork works in both polarities.

Amountamount#

Blends between the original and the inverted version. At 50% everything collapses toward mid-grey, which is rarely useful but does make for a clean transition through the middle.
