Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid Mixavis plans and credit purchases. Payments for Mixavis are processed by our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments, who handles billing, invoicing, and refunds on our behalf. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

Subscriptions and renewals

  • Paid plans (Pro and Studio) are billed in advance on a recurring basis — monthly or annually — and renew automatically until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account or the billing portal. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you already paid for; it simply does not renew after that.
  • Because you keep access for the period you paid for, we do not provide pro-rated refunds for the unused part of a billing period, except where required by law.

When we will refund

We want you to be happy with Mixavis, and we review refund requests in good faith. We will generally refund in cases such as:

  • A duplicate or accidental charge.
  • A technical failure on our side that prevented you from using a paid feature and that we could not resolve.
  • A renewal you contact us about within 7 days of the charge, where you had not meaningfully used the paid features in that new period.
  • Any situation where a refund is required by applicable law or consumer-protection rules.

Approved subscription refunds are returned to your original payment method.

Credit top-ups and AI usage

  • One-time credit top-ups can be refunded only if none of the credits from that purchase have been used, and only within 7 days of purchase.
  • AI credits that have already been spent on generations or images are non-refundable, because the underlying compute has already been used.
  • Plan credits included with a subscription have no cash value and are not separately refundable.

How to request a refund

Email us at hello@mixavis.com from the email address on your account, including your order or invoice number (from your Dodo Payments receipt) and a short description of the issue. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Dodo Payments and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Chargebacks and disputes

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in suspension of your account and removal of any remaining credits tied to the disputed purchase, and repeated disputes may lead to a permanent ban.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
